Announcing the Schedule for the 7th Denthog Chigma Chö Retreat

The Denthog Chigma Chö Retreat is held annually in France, to accomplish enlightenment in a very short time for oneself and benefit of all sentient beings.

Chöpa Lama is been leading this Denthog Chigma Retreat in France for the past 6 years. And this year 7th Annual Summer Retreat will take place in Perpignan in South of France. A little town surrounded by the peaks of the Pyrenees.

Denthog Chigma practice was composed by 8th Karmapa Mikyö Dorje and Detail teachings has been written by 5th Shamarpa Konchog Yenlag. Denthog Chigma literally means ‘The method for accomplishment on one seating. And this specific retreat is done strictly in silence with mantra recitation. 

The Chöd Denthog Chigma Retreat is guided by Chödpa Lama Rinpoche, an authentic Tibetan Chödpa from Ngakpa lineage.

Chödpa Lama Rinpoche is a very kind good heart teacher, using meaningful skills to help us. All his times and energies are dedicated to all sentient beings, healing them through the ritual ceremony, guiding them in their life with Tibetan Mö divination, showing them path of Buddhahood, giving them teachings from pure lineage of Karma Kagyu tradition.  

Rinpoche works hard to find the most simple and direct words that touch our heart, wake us up from our deep ignorance. Rinpoche give us all the details of the visualisation of Chöd, purely transmitted by his precious Root Gurus, the late HE Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche and HE Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche received all the teachings directly from 16th Gyalwang Karmapa, also earlier age Rinpoche has received teaching on Chö from his father Lama, the Venerable Yogi Kalsang Rinpoche.

 

ALL CHÖ PRACTITIONERS WHO HAVE TAKEN EMPOWERMENT ARE WELCOME, REGARDLESS OF WHICH LINEAGE, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE RECEIVED EMPOWERMENT FROM PROPER AUTHENTIC LINEAGE MASTER. 

 

 

Program:

1st Day – Monday – June 25th 

8am -12 pm – First session begins with Mandala Offering and Lama Gyangbod prayer (Calling Lama from Afar) & Teachings on Denthog Chigma (if there is new participant and also Dharma teaching on motivation for the retreat); • 1pm – 3pm – First session of Dentog Chigma; • 4 pm- 6pm – Second session of Denthog Chigma; • 7pm- 9pm – Group practice of Chö Dagdangma (Lujin) and confession prayer to restore all downfalls.

From 2nd day, 26th June to 6th day, 30th June 

6am -7:30am – Mandala Offering and Lama Gyangbod prayer (Calling Lama from Afar); • 9am- 11am – First session Denthog Chigma session; • 1pm-3pm – Second session; • 4pm -6pm – Third session; • 7pm – Group practice of Chö Dagdangma and confession prayer to restore all downfalls.

7th Day – Sunday – July 1st

5am -7am – First session of Chö Tsogley Rinchen Trengwa; • 8am – 12pm – Second session; • 1pm – 3pm – Fire puja and Mandala dissolve ceremony; • 4pm – 6pm – Last session along with dedication prayer and katag offering, gesture of gratitude for the precious teachings.

This year there will be Sand Mandala Ceremony (if Lama’s attendant gets visa to France) at the beginning of the retreat and fire puja at the end of the retreat. 

Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend the preparation of Sand Mandala at beginning of the retreat. And spiritual concert at the end of the retreat. (if all condition comes together)

That way you must consider to book accommodation for few extra days and must informed the organiser by email or phone. 

The rate for accommodation for each additional day is 15 € per person (meals included).

Acceptance to the retreat is by registration and there are prerequisites for this retreat:

• Based on the text this practice must be done in strictly silent retreat. 

• From the day 1st until day 6th you should remain in silence and would not be able to use your telephone.

• You must attend retreat from the 1st day and can not leave the retreat until last day.

 

Please bring:

• a sleeping bag or sheet and blanket

• a flash light

• a meditation cushion 

• plates, spoon and cup

• bath towel

• pencil, eraser and notebook

• tsoks or money for the daily tsoks (we will have a box to put money for the tsok)

Cost:

Program for 7 days is €450 indoor accommodation or €400 outdoor accommodation, you can bring your own tent or book nearby accommodation with bed of your own choice. Both option includes 3 time meals, accommodation plus teachings and retreat.

Registration:

Registration is required for all participants. Because of limitation of space and necessary arrangements you must register online in advance. Once you booked you can not cancel.
